Shipping, Returns & Cancellation

Return Policy (7 day return policy): Our return policy is very customer friendly and transparent. We make sure that the item that reaches you is in perfect shape and health and is the one that was displayed by the seller on our website.

In case you find an item to be faulty or damaged or the one that you did not purchase or it is "drastically different" from what was displayed on the website, then you can get an RMA number by visiting our "Returns" section located at the right bottom of any page.

Since we do not have return pick-up facility, customer will have to send the items back through any reliable courier service, within 7 days of receiving the parcel. The return courier charges will have to be borne by the customer. Refund will be made only after receiving back the product and assessment of it's condition by the seller. After reviewing the information about your return request and checking the terms of return which our seller displayed/registered with us during the listing, we will initiate the refund process or will issue the credit of the amount equal to the product price, depending upon the reason for return.

We do not offer a "try and buy" facility, so in case you are returning for reasons like "Not liking the product even though it is in perfect shape and exactly the one that was ordered, then we shall deduct the Credit/Debit Card/Cash on Delivery commissions that were paid to the respective agencies, as well as the courier charges incurred in shipping the original item to you, and the balance will be refunded to the bank account details provided by you.

Please note that if the item returned by you is found to be tampered or modified or damaged in any way, no credit will be issued. While returning the items, make sure that you do not destroy the original packing and it should be as nicely and safely packed. In case you opt for refund, the payment will be reverted back to your bank account/credit or debit card within 7 working days from the date of receipt of the items dispatched by you. In case you opt for the credit/coupon of equal amount, it will be issued to you within 48 hours of receiving back the parcel.


Shipping Policy: We (for products through established physical emporiums and shops who use Artsy India collection and shipping facility) ship the products through established shipping service providers like Blue Dart, DTDC for small items, while other national surface transport agencies in case of heavy goods. In case the order is placed from a place where private shipping service providers cannot reach, we ship the products through the India Post's Speed Post service.


Once we receive an order from you, we will dispatch the product within 5 working days. The products might reach you anytime within 15 working days, depending upon the reachability of the delivery address. However, these delivery days are only estimated number of days, and we do not commit to these time durations as the delivery is handled by external shipment agencies.

The customers are advised to go for the insurance of the expensive products by contacting the sellers, as neither the seller, nor Artsy India will be responsible for the damages caused during the shipping of goods. However, it depends upon the seller's goodwill if he wants to replace the products to you without any extra cost or he might levy some partial costs for replacing/re-sending the products. The products that are directly shipped by the sellers, we encourage the sellers to ship the items through established national and international courier services who provide an online tracking mechanism that we can communicate to the customer as soon as the item is dispatched. However, in some cases, the tracking mechanism might not be possible (e.g. in case of big items like furniture etc which are normally sent by surface transport). In such cases, the details about the shipment consignment number and the transport agency will be communicated to the customer, and the customer can directly get in touch with the transport agency through telephone and know about the status of the shipment.

In case of any disputes, we shall be happy to pitch in, talk to all parties and make a decision on case to case basis. However, once an order has been made and the item dispatched by the seller, we would like it to be a matter between the customer and the seller. But in case we find the fault is from the seller's side and not the transport agency, then it would be considered as a negative feedback for the seller, and would be counted in at the time of evaluation of the seller and might result in the blacklisting of the seller on such cases occurring repetitively.

Once an item has been shipped and reached the buyer, but the buyer is not available at the time of the delivery, courier service delivery office generally contacts the customer on phone or they make a second visit. If the buyer is not available on phone, or doesn't respond to it for any reason, or is not available even the second time, then the item is shipped back to the seller/shipper. In all such cases of unavailability and unreachability of the customer, it would be considered as the customer's fault, and Artsy India or its affiliated shops/sellers will not be responsible for such cases, and no refund will be made to the customer for the product purchased. However, we/seller can ship the product to the customer again on request, but the customer will have to bear the shipping cost.


State Taxes or Customs Duty: The sellers are not responsible for any charges levied by the state governments (or national governments in case of international orders) of the states (or countries) in which the items are being shipped to. Any octroi duty (or customs duty) needs to be borne by the customers.

Cancellation by customer or cancellation by Artsy India/Sellers: In case an order has been placed by you by mistake, or you think you don't need the item anymore, you can reach out to us no later than 12 hours from the time the order was placed, and we would refund the full product amount to your payment source within 21 working days.

In case a cancellation request is made after 12 hours from the time of placing the order, the request will not be entertained, and the item will be dispatched to your delivery address as any other order. Please note that any of the listed sellers, or Arsty India, at any point of time, reserve the right to cancel your order and process you the full refund into the bank account details provided by you, with or without providing you the reasons for the cancellation.
